Strongbow Cloudy Apple partners with Radio X

The summer-long campaign will see Radio X transform five pubs across the UK, for four days into The Strongbow Cloudy Apple Pub. Johnny Vaughan will broadcast his Radio X drivetime show live from the pub, the first of which will take residency in Bristol from the 19th to 22nd May.

The entertainment doesn’t stop there – The Strongbow Cloudy Apple Pub will play host to live DJ sets from the likes of Radio X presenter Clint Boon and the band Everything Everything, plus a Radio X comedy night. The Chris Moyles Show’s resident quizmaster Rob DJ will also be hosting the ultimate pub quiz live from the The Strongbow Cloudy Apple Pub.

The partnership will also see five months of Strongbow Cloudy Apple content, on air and across Radio X’s social platforms.

Launched in 2015, Strongbow Cloudy Apple is the latest addition to the UK’s number one cider brand family.  The Radio X partnership complements the nationwide out-of-home and TV campaign for the cider which focuses on its premium credentials using the strap-line ‘Aim High.’

Radio X is a brand new national station which also launched last year across the UK on DAB digital radio, on FM in London and Manchester, and online through the Radio X app. It is home to some of the biggest personalities in broadcasting such as Johnny Vaughan, Chris Moyles, Vernon Kay and Ricky Wilson.
